Tweets With URL's Are Going To Be Little Shorter.

If you tweet a URL, your tweets are just going to become a little shorter. Now if you tweet a URL, your tweet will be reduced to 118 for http and 117 for https links.

The reason for this is the twitter t.co link wrapper. It extends the maximum length of t.co wrapped links from 20 to 22 characters for non-https URLs and from 21 to 23 characters for https URLs. 

In short, now if you are tweeting something with an URL, your commentary is going to be a little shorter.
