Micromax A72 Canvas Viva Spotted On Flipkart
After the rumours of the Micromax A115 Canvas 3D smartphone surfaced yesterday, we today have the news of another Canvas smartphone from Micromax which has popped up online. The Micromax A72 Canvas Viva has been spotted on the popular online shopping website, Flipkart. No information is there with us about the pricing of this device. But we think that this will be a budget device as its specs does not impress us in any means.
Quick Specifications of Micromax A72 Canvas Viva:
-5 inch WVGA display
-1GHz processor, 256MB RAM
-512MB internal storage (110MB user available), micro-SD card slot
-3MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera
-dual-SIM
-Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread
-EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi
-2,000mAh battery
As we move on to its detailed specs, the Micromax A72 Canvas Viva has a resolution of 800x400 pixels but is not comparable to any of the Canvas devices which have come in past because all of those devices had a more resolution than the Canvas Viva.
The smartphone is powered by a 1 GHz processor and has only 256 MB of RAM, which we think would not be enough to handle this phone for gaming but would only be able to do simple gaming.
Coming to the storage, we have only 512 MB of internal storage and from that, only 110 MB is allotted to the user which is very disappointing. But we need not to worry because it is the memory expandable upto 32 GB by an microSD card.
At the back the phone has an 3 megapixel camera along with a 0.3 megapixel camera at the front.
It comes with a dual sim card slots, but its again disappointing that none of them support 3G connectivity.
The Canvas Viva runs a much older OS which is the Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread. We expected atleast Android 4.0.4 (Ice Creamed Sandwich).
The Smartphone houses 2,000 mAh of battery which promises a talk time of 7 hours. Which is not bad for a 5 inch smartphone.
Looking at the specs of the Canvas Viva, it dosen't seems impressive like the other Canvas Devices and we expect this phone to be priced around 4,000 to 6,000 INR. If this device comes under 5,000 INR, it would be a great deal for those who are looking for a budget smartphone.
