Microsoft Is Making A Smartwatch : WSJ
This is going too crazy. Even though the smartwatch market barely exists, it seems that this place is going to be overcrowded before its even created.
The idea of a smart watch was all started by apple's iWatch, and before we can get information about it, we have got many rumours of companies like Google, Samsung, LG and many other companies about making similar kind of devices.
Now, according to the latest report of the Wall Street Journal, Microsoft too is working on a design for a "touch enabled watch". This information was given by some executives of a company which supplies parts to Microsoft.
Even though the concept of the smart watch is not new, Many companies are getting on it. But hardly any devices in this segment can be termed as "Successful", except the recently launched Pebble smart watch.
The Pebble smartwatch uses Bluetooth to pair with an iOS or Android smartphone and once it’s done, the watch alerts the user for incoming calls, text messages, emails, etc. The smartwatch even comes with apps that can measure health metrics or golf strokes.
So, that means that we will get many smart watches in the near future but we have to see that will this be a success, or a big failure.
