Gionee Launches Its P1 In India Priced At Rs. 4,999

After launching the D1, Gionee has now launched the P1 smartphone. It is an entry level smartphone which comes with an 3.5-inch Capacitive touch screen display.

The smartphone will be running the Android OS, but suprisingly there is no version specified yet by Gionee. But as per the specs, we think that the phone must be running the Android 2.3(Ginger Bread).

The Gionee P1 is powered by a 1GHz single-core Cortex A9 CPU. It has a 2 megapixel rear camera and a VGA secondary camera.

The smartphone has 512 MB of internal storage which could be expanded further upto 32 GB by a Micro-SD card.

The Gionee P1 comes with dual-sim card slots, but we do not have any information about any of it if it can support 3G or not.

The smartphone also has a 1,500 mAh battery, but again, we do not have information about its talktime.

Priced at Rs.4,999, the Gionee P1 will come in only a black color variant and as introductory offer, the company is bundling a 4GB micro-SD card, a screen protector and 2 cases along with the smartphone for free.
